Why is Saving So Important?

Why is Saving So Important?

Hi! How often do you think about the basic skill of saving money in relation to your overall financial plan?

If your answer is 'not too often' then I would urge you to spend a few moments mulling over the importance you place on saving money. Why?

Well, the longer I work as a licensed financial planner who specialises in retirement funding solutions for 30- to 50-year-old individuals living in Malaysia, the more it seems to me that of all the necessary initiatives that contribute toward achieving financial freedom, saving is the single most important one. (If you'd like to know a little bit about me and my consulting services, you are welcome to check out my bio.)

In fact, I think so highly about the fundamental need for each of us to focus on savings that I actually have a dedicated page on the subject within the Quotation Archive of my FreeCoolArticles.com site.

If you have time, do visit the quotations page on savings and let me know what you think about the thoughts shared by:

John Demartini
Benjamin Franklin
Charlie Munger

and by

me.

As you consider what has been said in the past about savings, you might want to take things further by reading this article and then implementing the lessons you pick up from it.

That's it for today. Have fun!

Bye for now.

Warmest regards,

Rajen

PS. If you want to invest in a digital resource that will help you craft your mission statement so that you will quickly come to understand yourself better, you may buy my Special Report on that subject here.

Rajen Devadason is CEO of RD Book Projects and its sister company RD WealthCreation Sdn Bhd. He lives in sunny, peaceful Malaysia with his gorgeous wife Rachel. He's a Malaysian Securities Commission-licensed financial planner, a life planning consultant, a professional speaker and a serial author... which probably explains why he's so exhausted! Some of his books are available here, and, if you're interested, here are some quotations he reckons are accurate, bold or cool.

It's been a while for me reading the articles you have posted. What a wonderful articles here. Indeed, a very good valuable financial knowledge and management to gain. Your articles really teaching me what has not been taught in school.

In this Information Age, everyone is just working much harder than before to survive. Basically, I am no different from the others. I am a normal graduate who only looks for higher pay. But it doesn't work on me anymore. Two years ago, I were shown the road to financial freedom. At all times, I learnt that knowledge is the most powerful tool. That's why I invested more time and knowledge than in money. And now, I still continue to work hard for my dream.

Thanks for sharing all these for free. I am starting up my own blog also. Feel free to drop by and visit my blog at http://chenhing.spaces.live.com/
I wish to have some comments from you too.
Please keep writing and you are helping to shape the future of the younger generations.
