Financial Planning - What Is Money?

Financial Planning - What Is Money?

Hi! We're all interested in money because it really is very important. However, have you ever taken the time to mull over the question - What Is Money?

If not, I think it would be most useful to do so because knowing the answer to that important question may help you figure out honest, proactive ways to attract more of it into your life. And that's got to be a good thing!

To help you deal with this issue, I've written an article entitled What Is Money? In it, you will learn - among other things - the 3 functions of money, the historical progression of 3 types of money, and be able to decide which other aspects of financial abundance you would like to study further.

Enjoy and bye for now.

Warmest regards,

Financial Planning - Articles On Saving & Investing

Financial Planning - Articles On Saving & Investing

Hi! How committed are you to becoming a better saver and investor?

Since you've taken the time to drop by here, I would guess, very committed!

You might, therefore, enjoy reading an article I wrote entitled Who Is Mr Market? In case you don't already know this, Mr Market was a famous metaphor for the stock market created by the Father of Security Analysis, Benjamin Graham.

Graham died many years ago, but the powerful ongoing applicability of his teachings is most evident in the incredible success of his most famous student - the legendary Warren Buffett, who once again has been in the news recently because of his decision to leave the bulk of his fortune to charity via his friend Bill Gates' charitable foundation. You'll be able to read more about that here.

I also hope you enjoy the article on Mr Market.

Financial Planning - Why Bother With Dividend Investing?

Financial Planning - Why Bother With Dividend Investing?

Hi! Do you work for money or do you have your money work for you?

Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad, Poor Dad fame has said repeatedly through both the written and spoken word that the poor and middle class work for money but the rich have money work for them.

A great way to have your money work for you, and thus to start to emulate a great habit of the rich, is to invest in stocks that pay great dividends.

To help readers who think this might be a good idea, but who don't know too much about stock dividends, I wrote an article entitled Why Bother With Dividend Investing?

I hope you enjoy it and learn to prosper from the information contained in it.

Bye for now.

Financial Planning - What Is Investing?

Financial Planning - What Is Investing?

Hi! Do you see yourself - deep down - as a consumer or as an investor?

This is an important question to answer because in the decades ahead, the vast throng of hyper consumers will end up facing dire economic straits.

In contrast, those who have trained themselves to be wise investors will stand a far better chance of seeing their money grow faster than inflation. This means their purchasing power will not be eroded by insidious inflation.

In an article I've written entitled, What Is Investing?, I've pointed out that:

"In the simplest of terms, it means taking cash you have - from spending less than you earn or from borrowing - and parking it in some instrument that you expect will go up in value."

Of course, you already know that. But the real issue is are you doing anything about that knowledge of yours?

I hope you'll seriously mull over that question. If you'd like to read the entire article, you're welcome to do so here. I hope you enjoy it.

Bye for now.

Warmest regards,

Financial Planning - How To Start Saving

Financial Planning - How To Start Saving

Hi! Are you as an effective a saver as you would like to be?

Most people would have to say no. Although deep down they know it is better to save a portion of every pay cheque, somehow they never get around to it.

This is a dangerous mistake that can lead people to long-term economic underperformance.

To help my readers and my clients, I've listed 3 straightforward strategies that can be used by someone who is primarily a hyper-consumer to transform himself or herself into a super-saver. Those three strategies are:

1. Remind yourself that you matter at least as much as everybody else;
2. Understand the true power of compound interest; and
3. Unleash the power of goal-setting in this vital area of life.

The description of each strategy is simple to understand. I urge you to think about each one and decide if you are able to implement it in your life. If you should like a deeper understanding of this integrated approach to becoming a saver, you're welcome to read an article I've written on the subject, How To Start Saving.

Bye for now.

Warmest regards,

Rajen
